A RiboPureTM-Yeast kit (Ambion) was used for RNA preparation. The standard protocol was used, except that cells were ran in a beadbeater for 5x1 minutes with one minute on ice between each run, instread of runnig 10 minutes on a vortex mixer.

Cells were grown overnight at 30° on YPD with 2% glucose, diluted to A600 of 0.2, and then grown to an A600 of 1. The cells were pelleted by centrifugation and frozen in liquid nitrogen.
