Sequencing libraries were prepared for mRNA sequencing using TruSeq v3 RNA Sample Preparation kits. mRNA was purified from total RNA using poly-T oligo-attached magnetic beads, then fragmented and primed with random hexamers for cDNA synthesis. Multiple indexing adapters were ligated to the ends of the double-stranded cDNA, and the DNA fragments with adapter molecules on both ends were selectively PCR enriched to create the sequencing libraries.
