Total RNA was extracted using TRIzol (Invitrogen) and the RNeasy kit (Qiagen). RNA was quantified using Qubit (Life Technologies) and RNA quality was assessed with the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer to select samples with RNA integrity numbers (RIN) â‰¥8 for analysis.
