Expression data from Col-0 and sp1,spx2 under phosphate starvation stress and recovery after resupplying phosphate
  • organism-icon Arabidopsis thaliana
  • sample-icon 18 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Arabidopsis ATH1 Genome Array (ath1121501)

Description

We performed a transcriptomic analysis of Pi-starvation and recovery after resupplying Pi in Arabidopsis thaliana (Columbia-0) wild type plants and double mutant spx1,spx2. Results show that SPX1 is a Pi-dependent inhibitor of the transcription factor PHR1, a central regulatory protein in the control of transcriptional responses to Pi starvation.

Publication Title

SPX1 is a phosphate-dependent inhibitor of Phosphate Starvation Response 1 in Arabidopsis.

Dido as a switchboard that regulates self-renewal and differentiation in embryonic stem cells (Affy)
  • organism-icon Mus musculus
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Mouse Genome 430 2.0 Array (mouse4302)

Description

Transition from symmetric to asymmetric cell division requires precise coordination of differential gene expression. Embryonic stem cells (ESC) strongly express Dido3, whose C-terminal truncation impedes ESC differentiation while retaining self-renewal. We show that Dido3 binds to its gene locus via H3K4me3 and RNA pol II and, at differentiation onset, induces expression of its splice variant Dido1, which then leads to Dido3 degradation and downregulation of stemness genes. We propose that Dido isoforms act as a switchboard to regulate genetic programs for ESC transition from pluripotency maintenance to promotion of differentiation.

Regulation of gene expression in chronic lymphocytic leukemia cells in response to arsenic trioxide.
  • organism-icon Homo sapiens
  • sample-icon 6 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge Icon Affymetrix Human Gene 1.0 ST Array (hugene10st)

Description

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is characterized by the accumulation of malignant CD5+ B lymphocytes (CLL cells) in the peripheral blood, and their progressive infiltration in lymphoid organs. Despite the efforts made, CLL remains an incurable disease. It is therefore crucial to continue searching for new therapeutic agents and targets. Arsenic trioxide (ATO) induces apoptosis in all CLL cases and it could constitute an efficient therapy for this disease.

Arabidopsis SCW4 RNAi line transcriptome
  • organism-icon Arabidopsis thaliana
  • sample-icon 4 Downloadable Samples
  • Technology Badge IconIllumina HiSeq 2000

Description

Plants with decreased SWC4 expression levels displayed several pleiotropic phenotypic alterations, suggesting that this gene participates in the regulation of different developmental processes. To evaluate genes whose expression was misregulated in SCW4 RNAi line, we performed RNA-seq differential expression analysis.
